Athel M. Logsdon Cowan age 85 passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at her home in Edmonton.
She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church. Athel is the daughter of the late Clarence & Evelyn Dennis Hayes.
Athel was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Logsdon; two sons Jamie Logsdon & Franklin Tracy Logsdon and a sister Lucille Sexton.
She is survived by her children Marvin Roland Logsdon(Robin), Sarah Houk, Stanley Logsdon(Kay) and Michael Logsdon(Lorrie); a brother Johnnie Hayes; a sister Wilma Waddell; 11 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren also survive.
The funeral for Athel M. Logsdon Cowan will be 1pm Sunday, November 3rd in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home with Bro. James Meredith officiating. Burial will be in the Little Flock Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 3-8pm and after 9am Sunday at the Sego Funeral Home.
