Melisa Rowlett, age 72, passed away in Bowling Green, Kentucky on October 29, 2024. She was born to the late Oron and Elsie Jordan on January 18, 1952. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson Colter Cole, and three brothers; Jeff Jordan, Steve Jordan, and Gary Jordan and her sister Anita Regan.
Melisa was a vibrant and caring person. She was an excellent cook that brought her family together for many meals and cherished memories. Her family was her passion, she loved and cherished them wholeheartedly.
Survivors include her husband Phil Rowlett. Daughters; Davina Propes, Katherine Majoros (John), and Julie Brown. Step-daughters; Lori Parker (Steve), Leigha Reddick (Bryan), and Lisa Rowlett Nichols. One grandson, Joel Kirby, and two brothers; David Jordan (Tina), and Henery Eric Jordan. Several step-grandchildren and extended family members also survive.
Visitation will be 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, all at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
