Glenna Hicks Harris

Glenna Hicks Harris, 87, of Alvaton passed away November 1, 2024 surrounded by her loving daughters.

The Wooldridge, Tennessee native was born December 9, 1936 to the late Lawrence Edgar and Imalee Inman Hicks. She is also preceded in death by a son, Charles Randall Harris and siblings, Lawrence Hicks, Ronnie Hicks, and Sarah Ward. She was an active member and attendee of New Hope Full Gospel Church in Alvaton. Glenna loved being with family and watching children play. She loved nature and any time family was gathered.

Survivors include her daughters, Shari Scott (Cam ‘Bug’) of Bowling Green, Rebecca ‘Becky’ Taylor (Wayne) of Alvaton, Kathy McClusky (Mac) of Scottsville, and Kimberly Embry (Johnny) of Morgantown; grandchildren, John Scott (Emily), Christopher Best, Jillian Goodwin, Mandy McClusky (Colin), Brandon McClusky, Ruby McClusky, Misty McClusky, Denise McClusky, Joseph Adams, and Elizabeth Adams; great-grandchildren, Julie Huot (Paul), Emily Best (Cory), Tyler Best, Alexis Best, Leah Best, Natalee Scott (Zach), Caden Goodwin, Austin VonRhein, Azriel Dawson, Tangelina Burkins, Maricia Burkins, Cherilynn Scott, and Emmalee Scott; great-great grandchildren, Elena, Ryker, and three on the way; siblings, Vivian Harris, Carol Scott, Nancy Haynie-Ahearn, and David Hicks; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at Bethany Community Cemetery.
