On Sunday November 3, 2024 at 1:57 a.m., Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 3 was notified of 2 vehicle injury collision on Interstate 65 around the 25-mile marker northbound in Warren County.

Preliminary Investigation indicates that a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, operated by Alex Bailey (26) of Jeffersonville Indiana, was northbound on Interstate 65 around the 25-mile marker when a deer entered his path causing him to hit his breaks before colliding with the deer. Mr. Bailey was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office. Mr. Hutchins was transported by MED-COM EMS to the Medical Center of Bowling Green with unknown injuries.

The Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by the Bowling Green Fire Department, MED-COM EMS, and the Warren County Coroner’s Office. This investigation is ongoing by KSP and is being led by Trooper Grant Robertson
