Bettie Jo Brown, age 91 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville. She was born in Russellville, Kentucky on January 20, 1933 to the late Charlie Rosser and Nolie Hildabrand Rosser. She worked as a grocery store clerk, was a member of the Logan County Homemakers and was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Brown, a daughter, Linda Gray and sisters, Sue Fortner, Mattie Mayes and Lou Jones. She is survived by:

Funeral Services for Bettie Jo Brown will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Summers and Son Funeral Home with Bro. William Gray and Bro. Mike Brady officiating with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be held Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Monday from 8:00 am until the service hour of 2:00 pm.
