Reva Yvonne Janes- McCorkle of Hodgenville, Kentucky, daughter of Marcella Sharpe Janes of Summersville and the late Charles E. Janes was born on Monday, November 5, 1956 in Elizabethtown and departed this life on Friday, November 1, 2024. She was 67 years, 11 months, and 27 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended LaRue Baptist Church and she was a caregiver for many years.
Besides her mother, other survivors include two sisters: Laura Carter of Summersville and Barbara Arnold of Tennessee; a brother and sister-in-law: Marvin and Hilda Janes of Summersville; nieces and nephews: Derek and Stephanie Janes, Dakota and Lauren Janes, Andrew Brickner, Sarah and Antwone Dixon, Marcia and Justin Johnson, Tommy and Rachel McCoy, Brandon and Edward McCoy, Glendon Wilkerson; and a host of great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The funeral services for Reva Yvonne Janes- McCorkle will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Sonora City Cemetery. Bro. Michael Shelton officiating.
Visitation is requested after 9:30 A.M., Central Time, Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take form of donations to the Family Burial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
