Geneva Odelle Sherrard, 86, of Gallatin, TN passed away Monday, November 11th, at her home. Odelle was born in Tompkinsville, KY on September 12, 1938, a daughter of the late Eva (Clone) Bryant and Lawrence Pitcock.
She was the owner of Aero Decorating and a very talented seamstress. She was a member of Faith Church.
She was married to Horace Stone Padgett, Sr. and then later to Glen Sherrard, and they both preceded her in death.
Odelle is survived by a daughter, Annette Cross, of Gallatin, TN; a son, Billy Padgett, and wife, Helen, of Hendersonville,TN; two step daughters, Lynn Shockley, and husband, Steve of Gallatin, TN; Debbie Huff, and husband, Anthony, of Indianapolis, IN; ten grandchildren, Samantah, Tiffany, Alison, Kristen, Josh, Nikita, Devon, Blake, Macy and Colton.
Odelle is also survived by a sister, Ila Roudebush, of Sparks, NV.
Other than her husbands and parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Horace Padgett Jr., and Lawrence Hubert Padgett, and two brothers, Charles and JR. Pitcock,
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16th at Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN, 202 East Main Street, Gallatin, TN 37066. Visitation will be held Friday, 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Anderson Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16 at Old Mt. Herman Cemetery, Tompkinsville, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
