Ina Dee Tupman Durham

Ina Dee Tupman Durham of Greensburg, daughter of the late James Tyler Tupman and Margaret Caldwell Tupman, was born on Saturday, October 17, 1931, in Adair County and departed this life on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Green River Trails Nursing Home. She was 93 years and 25 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Greensburg Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Green County Historical Society.

She was united in marriage to Hardin Hoagland “Ike” Durham on September 13, 1948, who preceded her in death on March 21, 2003.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Terry Mills, Ann Durham and Ralph Cook all of Greensburg; a son: Mark Durham of Lexington; a grandson and his wife: Matt Mills and Amanda of Greensburg; two great grandchildren: Isabella Mills, Kimber Thompson and her husband, Jordan all of Greensburg; one great-great grandson: Silas Thompson of Greensburg; one brother: Donald Tupman of Louisville.

Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Mike Mills; five siblings: JT Tupman, Ruby Barbee, Jessie Shirley, Dorothy McClung, Billy Tupman.

Honoring the families wishes, cremation was chosen. There will be a graveside service held at 2 P.M., Central Time, on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Greensburg Cemetery. Rev. Matthew Wilson officiating. Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Greensburg Cemetery or Greensburg Presbyterian Church which can be made at the funeral home.
