John David Haynes

John David Haynes, 80, of Brownsville passed away Nov. 12, 2024 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care in Scottsville.

The Edmonson County native was a construction worker, a blacktop roller operator, a truck driver and a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. He was a son of the late Vernon Haynes and Mabel Raymer Haynes.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday at Gravil Funeral Home with burial to follow in Milligan Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Saturday.

Surviving are three children, Jeff Haynes and Jennifer Whiteside (Brian) both of Bowling Green and Brandon Haynes of Roundhill; four brothers, James Haynes (Nancy) of Sunny Point, Sam Haynes (Cathy) of Reedyville and Tim Haynes and Stephen Haynes (Emily) both of Bowling Green; three sisters, Sarah Lazarus and Rebecca Tarrence both of Bowling Green and Martha Vincent (Dale) of Smiths Grove; seven grandchildren, Brooke Bratcher (Jason), Andrew Cohron (Cassie), Ashlyn McGuire (Bryton), Alexis Haynes, Justine Haynes, Jayla Haynes and Braden Whiteside; and ten great grandchildren, Adam Bratcher, Lane Bratcher, Lily Bratcher, Kate Bratcher, Rayleigh Cohron, Cooper Cohron, Adley McGuire, Briggs McGuire, Eden Alvarez and Axel Howard.
