Celia Mae Campbell Atwell, of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Burton Campbell and Lena Willis Campbell, was born on Sunday, August 26, 1945 in Louisville and passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the Norton’s Louisville Hospital-Downtown. She was 79 years, three months, and six days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of East Campbellsville Church of God.
She was united in marriage to Bobby Joe Atwell on January 23, 1971, who preceded her in death on January 17, 2018.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Kristi and Rollin Gentry, Jenni and Troy Moore all of Greensburg; five grandchildren: TC and Chasity Moore of Campbellsville, MacKenzie and Alex Colvin, Shelby and Christian Goodin all of Greensburg, Sam Moore of Campbellsville, Grant Karnes of Greensburg; five great-grandchildren: Fischer, Oliver, Maddie, Grayson, Jaxon, Odey; three brothers: George Campbell of Campbellsville, Henry Lee Campbell, Bradley Eugene Campbell both of Illinois.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter: Melinda Atwell on April 2, 1983; and one brother: Garnett Campbell.

The funeral services for Celia Mae Campbell Atwell will be conducted at 12 Noon, Central Time, Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Bro. Tom Carnahan and Bro. TC Moore officiating.
Visitation is requested after 8:30 A.M., Central Time, Saturday at the funeral home until time of the service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the East Campbellsville Church of God Building Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
