Glenn Richards

By Mark Buckles Dec 4, 2024 | 2:32 PM

Glenn Richards, age 61 of Wingfield, departed this life at his residence on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The Jefferson County native was born on September 12, 1963 to the late Verna Lindsey Richards, and Beuford Richards, who survives.

As a professional in the woodworking field, Glenn spent many years contributing his skills to Building Systems, where he gained the respect and admiration of his colleagues. His attention to detail and passion for creating quality cabinetry were hallmarks of his fulfilling career. Glenn was a proud graduate of Warren East High School, where he cultivated friendships that would last a lifetime. He was saved at Fairview United Baptist Church, and remained a member there until his passing.

In addition to his professional and spiritual endeavors, Glenn was an enthusiastic sports fan, particularly of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His passion for the game brought joy and camaraderie to his life, often shared with friends and family during spirited game days.

Besides his father, Beuford, he leaves to honor his memory — his siblings, Dennis Richards of Bowling Green and Karen King (Tony) of Wingfield; nephew and niece, Jamie Wilson (Jessica) and Amy Smith, along with a great nephew and great niece, Gavin Rowe and Reece Wilson.

Interment will be in Fairview Church Cemetery.
