Roger Dale Pinkston, age 63, of Leitchfield, passed away Tuesday, (December 3, 2024) at Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Hospital.
He was born on September 15, 1961 in Daviess County, KY, the son of the late Robert Thomas and Corine Lindsey.
He was a farmer who enjoyed fishing, gardening, and watching television; especially the old cartoons. He loved his dog, Vander, who survives. He married Patricia Wathen on May 6, 2006. Roger was a member of Clarkson Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Pinkston of Leitchfield; two daughters, Brittany and Renee Pinkston; two grandchildren, Aubryn and Shelbi Fulkerson; two sisters, Darlene Pinkston and Tina Pugh; one brother, George Pinkston; and several nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wavey and David Pinkston, and one sister, Betty Breeden.
Cremation was chosen and will be under the direction of the Dermitt Funeral Home.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday (December 14, 2024) at New Horizon Church, 1000 Cave Mill Road, Leitchfield, KY beginning at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Tom Wilson and Rev. Johnnie Long will be officiating.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the church until service time.
