William “Todd” Parson, 55, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away on December 7, 2024. Todd was a fantastic man who embraced life’s simple joys. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he found his greatest happiness in the love and laughter of his family. His wife, Leslie, his daughters, Allie Parson and Jessica Ashby, and his granddaughter, Kylee Yates, were his world. Whether fixing their cars, sharing laughs, or simply being there, Todd loved his girls with all his heart.
An avid outdoorsman, Todd spent countless hours hunting and fishing, especially at the sportsman club down the road. When not enjoying the outdoors, he could often be found in his garage or driveway, ensuring everything around the house ran like clockwork. He loved the satisfaction of hard work and the rewards of a perfectly grilled steak, preferably paired with an ice-cold Busch Lite.
Todd’s fun-loving spirit and kind heart were his trademarks. A true goofball, he brought joy and laughter to those around him. He never judged a book by its cover, always treating people with kindness and warmth.
A man of simplicity and love, Todd touched countless lives with his humor, generosity, and steadfast devotion to his family.
Todd is survived by his father and step mother William ”Bill” Robert Parson, Jr. and June Parson and his mother Dolores Rogers, his daughters, Allie Parson and Jessica Ashby, his granddaughter, Kylee Yates, his brother and sister in-law Patrick and Kelli Parson, sister Kim Parson and brother in-law Craig Ewing, step brothers Shane Hawkins and Jason Hawkins and several nieces and nephews..
Todd will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew him.
Visitation will be Wednesday December 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM followed by burial in the Auburn City Cemetery.
