The Barren County Trojanettes pulled away and held on late to beat Warren East, 47-37, in a 15th District showdown.
After a grinding first quarter, Barren took control of the game in the second period. The Trojanettes outscored the Lady Raiders 21-8 in the second to lead 27-13 at halftime. Barren led 32-23 after three quarters.
Warren East entered the game undefeated at 3-0, while the Trojanettes improved to 3-1 with the victory, and up a game in the district standings.
Addy Slagle led the way for Barren with 16 points, while Katie Gearlds added 10. Lydia Jones led East with 11 points.
