Carolyn Joyce (Murley) Settle, 74, of Fountain Run, KY, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Monroe County Medical Center.
Carolyn was born June 25, 1950, a daughter of the late Stanley and Hazel (Cleary) Murley.
She worked at Sumitomo in Scottsville, KY. Carolyn enjoyed collecting and crafting jewelry. She was a member of Peters Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized in July 1979.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Tina Tooley, and her husband, Johnny, of Tompkinsville, KY; a son, Robert Wayne Settle Jr., of Austin, KY; three grandchildren, Kaden Cauthen, Jason and John Tooley.
Also surviving are three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Linda Murley, of Fountain Run, KY, Jerry and Estelen Murley of Gamaliel, KY, and Ricky and Kathy Murley of Lucas, KY; and a special niece, Marcie Murley of Burkesville, KY
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Carol (Settle) Cauthen, brothers, James, Leonard, Floyd and Royce Murley and sisters, Mary Curtis and Susie Firkins.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m.Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Fountain Run Cemetery, with Bro. Time Eaton officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fountain Run Funeral Home.
