Rebecca Ann Ervin of the Little Barren Community, daughter of the late James Robertson and Maxine Morgan Robertson, was born on Monday, February 13, 1950 and departed this life on December 31, 2024 at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was 74 years, 10 months, and 18 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Little Barren Separate Baptist Church. She worked as a CNA and was retired from Green Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was united in marriage to William Huston Ervin on July 17, 1965, who preceded her in death on August 23, 2015.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Lorie and Jeff Richey of Glasgow; five grandchildren: Jay Todd Richey of Louisville, Colen Ervin, Chandler Ervin, Chayne Ervin, Caleigh Harmon all of Greensburg; a sister: Sherry Rogers of Glasgow, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son: Chad Ervin on April 26, 2016; a grandson: Cody Ervin on December 4, 2010; two sisters: Debbie Whitehead, Kay Morgan; three brothers: Eddie Robertson, Ricky Robertson, Mike Robertson.
The funeral services for Rebecca Ann Ervin will be conducted at 1 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Little Barren Cemetery. Bro. Neal Price officiating.
Visitation is requested after 9 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home until time of the service.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Little Barren Cemetery which can be made at the funeral home.
