The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for a large part of Southern Kentucky including Glasgow and Barren County. The watch is in effect until 9am Saturday morning. A tornado watch means that conditions are favorable for development of tornados and severe thunderstorms.
There is also a Wind Advisory in effect until 1am Sunday morning as well as a Flood Watch until 7am Sunday. Two to three inches of rain are expected over the next 24 hours.
