Mrs. Patricia Ann Hammer, age 78, of Glasgow, Kentucky, formerly of Tompkinsville, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at her home. Patricia was born on May 21, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late Vora Haskel and Hazel Pauline Cook Keen. She was united in marriage to Leon Hammer on July 7, 1961, Leon preceded her in death on January 30, 2017. Patricia was a devoted housewife, and a member of the Monroe Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Edward Hammer and wife Gina of Caneyville, Kentucky, Richard Hammer and wife Trudy of Glasgow, Michael Hammer and wife Karen of Crestwood, Kentucky, and Sheila Strange and husband Todd of Glasgow. Ten grandchildren, Jason Hammer and wife Traci, Josh Hammer and wife Adara, Hannah Hammer, David Hammer and wife Chastity, Sara Jones and husband Robert, Ashley Hammer, Emily Hammer, Tyler Strange and companion Mariah, Trevor Strange, and Taylor Strange. Seven great-grandchildren, Wesley Hammer, Elodie Hammer, Knox Hammer, Ridley Hammer, Katherine Jones, Benjamin Jones, and Remi Strange also survive.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Vora Haskel Keen, Hazel Pauline (Cook) Keen Crawford, and one brother, Steven Keen.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from Bartley & Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial to follow in the Old Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Bro. Gary Emberton will officiate the service.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, after 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
