Jerry Lenvil Johnson, 67, of Sunny Point passed away March 16, 2025 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
The Edmonson County native was a 1976 graduate of Edmonson County High School, a retired employee of Leggett & Platt and a member of Sunny Point General Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Denvil Johnson and Justine Sowders Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Sunny Point Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will take place 2:00-7:00 PM Wednesday at Gravil Funeral Home and after 10:00 AM Thursday at the church.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Kay Simpson Johnson; a daughter, Jennifer Sholar (David) of Brownsville; a brother, Mitchell Johnson (Marilyn) of Sunny Point; a sister, Paula Johnson of Sunny Point; and two grandchildren, Gavin Sholar and Ava Sholar.
