Angela Sue Forbis

Angela Sue Forbis, born on January 12, 1965, in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on March 17, 2025, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Angela was a devoted professional, having contributed her skills and talents to Human Resources at TPM Environmental Services. Her career was a testament to her dedication and commitment to serving others.

Angela found joy in various activities; she cherished watching her friends race at Beech Bend, often feeling a sense of exhilaration as she cheered them on. With a love for the beach and a passion for country music, Angela embraced life with an adventurous spirit and an appreciation for the simple pleasures it offered.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her son, Cole Forbis (Audrey), and stepsons, Drew Forbis (Sherrett Jones) and Josh Forbis (Lisa Bowersox). Her stepdaughter, Amber Duncan (Daniel), along with her siblings Christy Peden (Steve), John Butler (Robin), Becky Devers (Larry), and Joe Butler, will miss her deeply. Angela’s father, Isaac Butler, and her life partner, Bob Getsy, are cherished survivors, along with her beloved nieces, Jordan Butler and Riley Devers. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.

Angela is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Sue (Froedge) Butler, and her husband, Mark Forbis, as well as her grandparents, John T and Havanna Butler, and Dewey and Ella Mae Froedge.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd at 1:00 PM, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Saturday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.

Angela Sue Forbis will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for her warm spirit and vibrant personality. She touched the lives of many and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
