A 26-year-old Bowling Green woman was arrested in Glasgow on Monday and hit with 12 charges after a traffic stop.
Glasgow police responded to a reckless driver complaint on Park Avenue, where they stopped a vehicle driven by Amanda Hoffman. She allegedly failed a field sobriety test conducted by Glasgow police, according to a press release from the police department. They also searched the vehicle and found spice and marijuana.
Hoffman was arrested and charged with first degree promoting contraband, possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic drugs, first offense, possession of an open alcohol beverage in a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol, second offense, following another vehicle too closely, improper equipment, no registration plates, no registration receipts, operating on suspended license, failure to produce insurance card, and failure of owner to maintain required insurance.
She was arrested by Glasgow police officer Josh Proctor and lodged in Barren County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond. Hoffman has a court appearance set for Monday, March 24.
