UPDATED: Four transported to hospital after Glasgow vehicle collision

Numerous emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and S.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard for a two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon.

The collision occurred around 4:38 p.m., according to Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Terry Flatt. Glasgow Fire Department, Barren-Metcalfe EMS and Glasgow Police Department personnel responded to the scene.

Police determined a Dodge operated by a male juvenile was traveling north on S.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard and attempted to make a left turn onto Cleveland Avenue. He turned his car into the path of a 2013 Chevy driven by Amber Page. Page and three juveniles were transported by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for injuries, the releases states.

The crash was investigated by officer Alex Mutter, assisted by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
