Former Barren County golfer Jameson Corbin shot 2-over and finished tied for fourth in a college match at The Indy at Arlington on Saturday.
The Eastern Kentucky University sophomore shot 1-over 69 in the first round of the day, then fired 3-over 73 in the second round in Richmond, Ky. Corbin joined seven other Colonels in the Top 15, according to a report from EKU Athletics.
An eagle on the par-5 second hole set the tone for Corbin in the opening round.
The Colonels will next compete at the historic Chambers Bay Golf Club in University Place, Washington for the Chambers Bay Intercollegiate beginning March 31.
