Glasgow fell to 0-3 with a 10-0 loss at Clinton County.
The Lady Scotties had two chances to take a lead in the game before the Lady Bulldogs broke it open in the bottom of the third.
In the top of the second, Hayleigh Stamper was hit by a pitch with two outs. She stole second, then moved to third on a pass ball with Samiah Taylor at bat. Taylor drew a walk, then Kerigan Hagan drew a walk to load the bases. The next batter struck out to end the rally.
In the top of the third, NaTaya Lightfoot singled to center field. She stole second and third during Jakylie Green’s at-bat, who ended up drawing a walk. Green stole second during Paige de Haas’s at-bat, who also drew a walk to load the bases. The rally again ended with a strike out and a ground out.
Clinton County pushed its lead to 3-0 in the bottom of the third, and 7-0 after four innings.
Lightfoot posted Glasgow’s only hit in the game, but the Lady Scotties did draw five walks. Kerigan Hagan went the distance in the circle. She allowed 11 hits and struck out four.
