Nell Guess Cardwell, 55, of Bowling Green passed away March 22, 2025 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
The Bowling Green native was born August 21, 1969 to the late Billy and Ruby Jones Guess. Nell was a caring, selfless person who loved helping others. She always put others and especially her family before self. Nell loved gardening, flowers, horses, fishing, and her beloved pets. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Billy Cardwell; children, Scotty Leon Cardwell and Baily Gene Cardwell; siblings, Suzy Hammonds (the late Ricky) and Leon Guess (Betty); and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with visitation from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Archie Newman Wilson Cemetery.
