Nina Doris Woosley, age 79, of Yeaman, KY, passed away Thursday, (March 27, 2025) at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on July 10, 1945 in Yeaman, KY, the daughter of the late Lone and Lorean Willoughby Young.
She was a seamstress and a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, canning, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her fur-babies and loved her Amish neighbors. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her sons, Leonard Woosley (Becky) of Caneyville and Jonathan Woosley (Shannon) of Falls of Rough; three grandchildren, Cody Ikner, Skylar & Alexis Woosley; a great-grandchild, Denver Ray Woosley; one brother, Ross Young of Fordsville, KY; and two sisters, Jonell Layman and Dean Clark, both of Louisville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of almost 61 years, Eli Woosley Jr.; two sisters and an infant brother.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, (April 1, 2025) at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Bro. Mike Cannon will be officiating. Burial will be in the Yeaman Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
