Faye (Bowlin) Brown

Mrs. Faye (Bowlin) Brown of Albany, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her residence in Albany, Kentucky on Saturday, March 29, 2025, having attained the age of 82 years, and 6 days. She was born in Albany, Kentucky on Tuesday, March 23, 1943, the daughter of Alvis & Pearl (Penticuff) Bowlin. Faye was of the Baptist faith, and a member of Aarons Chapel Separate Baptist Church. In her free time, Faye loved flowers, working in her yard, hummingbirds & being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Aaron Brown, whom she wed on, Tuesday, November 18, 1958, son, Barry “Luke” Brown, brothers, Russell Bowlin, Lawrence Bowlin, John Edward Bowlin, Jimmy Bowlin, Gayle Bowlin, Lanny Bowlin and Powell Bowlin, sisters, Eulina Nell Pierce, Elizabeth Kerney, Jenny “Eddie” Avery and Bernice Bowlin.

She is survived by her children, James Gregory (& Angie) Brown, Beverly (& Vic) Upchurch, Gary (& Tonya) Brown, Sam Brown (& Rodney Garrett), Charles “Boodie” McIver, brother, Benny (& June) Bowlin, sister-in-law, Ann Bowlin, grandchildren, Nic (& Miranda) Upchurch, Britany Upchurch, Sharla Brown, Silas (& Brittany) Brown, Elijah (& Victoria) Brown, Haley (& Jordan) Matthews, Nate Matthews, Lucas Brown (& Jenna), Jessica (& Isaac) Dalton, Chas McIver, Nicole (& Rodney) Shelton, great-grandchildren, Caleb Brown, Abigale Upchurch, Izzy Upchurch, Tully Upchurch, Amelia Dicken , Nevaeh Dicken, Bentley Brown, Weston Brown, Lakyn Brown, Job Upchurch, Jed Upchurch, Doe Lemon Upchurch, Obi Upchurch, Saylor Brown, Theo Brown, Boone Matthews, Jazzlyn Dalton, Grady Kiesling, Cheyenne Lily-Leigh, Gracelyn Shelton.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. C.S.T. in the Memory Chapel of Campbell-New Funeral Home, with family members officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, after 6:00 p.m. C.S.T. at the funeral home, and again on Thursday, April 3, 2025, beginning at 6:00 a.m. C.S.T. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Aaron’s Chapel Cemetery in Clinton County, Kentucky.
