Kimberly Jane “Kim” Howard, 69, of Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Tompkinsville, KY passed away Saturday, March 29th, at Medical Center of Bowling Green.
Kim was born in Louisville, KY on April 29, 1955, a daughter of the late Jo Ann (Emmert) Rompala and the late Orville Howard.
Kim worked as a RN at the Medical Center of Bowling Green for 35 years. She enjoyed gardening and dogs. She loved spending time with her two sons, grandchildren, brother and sisters.
Kim is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Amy Ross, of Russellville, KY and Shawn and Randi Ross, of Hebron, KY; four grandchildren, Gabbi Poirier, Shawn Ross, Jr., Graci Ross, and Maxton Ross.
Kim is also survived by two sisters, Susan Clarkson, and husband, Norman, of Tompkinsville, KY; Kaye Davis, and husband, Don, of Indianapolis, IN, and a brother, Robert “Bobby” Rompala, of Tompkinsville, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 3rd at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, KY, with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 2, 4:00-7:00 p.m., and Thursday, April 3, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kim’s memory may be donated to the local human society or any animal rescue of your choice.
