A man was flown to the University of Louisville hospital with “life-threatening injuries” after being stabbed multiple times.

The Glasgow Police Department responded to Lauderdale Drive Apartments in reference to “a male subject that had been stabbed multiple times” on March 31. Officers found a man on the sidewalk with multiple lacerations “to the chest, abdomen and face area,” according to a press release from the police department.

“Officers determined that the incident had taken place at another location after the victim and a male juvenile had got into an altercation that resulted in the male juvenile stabbing the victim several times,” the press release states.

The man was transported to T.J. Samson Hospital and later flown to the University of Louisville hospital for “life-threatening injuries.” Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Terry Flatt said the man’s name is not being released at this time due to the case being under investigation, but confirmed he was an adult.

The juvenile was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault. He is lodged in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center, according to the press release.
