The Caverna Independent School District Board of Education meets Thursday, April 3 at 5 p.m. at the Caverna Central Office, with members expected to discuss contract renewals.
Among the main agenda items, board members will consider a $50,000 bond for the school secretary/treasurer and a blanket order for emergency substitute certificates for the 2025-2026 school year. The superintendent is expected to receive authorization to utilize Green River Regional Educational Cooperative for bidding on instructional and office supplies, tires, custodial supplies, and more.
Other major items include approving the district’s professional development plan, renewing a contract with Fastech, and accepting contractor agreements for the district’s culinary project.
The board will also vote on accepting a bid from Nuway Portable Buildings for outdoor restrooms while waiving bid irregularities. No details on the irregularities were given in the agenda.
