Kenneth Wayne England, 79, of Glasgow passed away on April 6, 2025. He was born on February 22, 1946 to the late David and Virginia Franklin England of Glasgow. Mr. England married his wife, Lena Norris England, on August 24, 1968, who survives. He retired from SKF/Tyson Bearing after 28 years. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
In addition to his wife Lena, he is survived by two sons, Wayne England and Shannon England (Sheryl), both of Glasgow; three granddaughters, Shelby Shives (Matt) of Bowling Green, Desiree Fox (Douglas) of Chalybeate, and Gracie Mae Elmore of Glasgow; two grandsons, Joseph England of Tennessee and Michael Allen England; three great grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Shockley (David) of Glasgow; two sisters-in-law, Verice England of Scottsville and Linda Cutliff (David) of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Brian England (Boots); three brothers: Charles, Gene, and Jerry (Mo) England; nephew, Jason England; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Mattie Norris; and a brother-in-law, Bill Norris.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
