Virginia Mae Finn Phelps

Virginia Mae Finn Phelps, 68, of Rockfield passed away April 8, 2025 at her residence.

The Bowling Green native was born May 31, 1956 to the late Raymond Sterling and Alta Littrell Finn. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Lee Phelps. Virginia was a longtime employee of Best Western, Holiday Inn, and The Medical Center at Bowling Green where she worked in housekeeping. She had a great personality, loved to speak her opinion, and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her large family.

Survivors include her four sons; William ‘Bill’ Phelps (Charlotte), James Edward Phelps, Ronnie Phelps (Shelly), and Brad Phelps (Christie); 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary Finn, Larry Finn (Linda), and Wayne Green; her fur-babies, Dinky and Peanut; as well as a host of extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel with visitation from 3 until 7 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place next to her husband at Still Cemetery.
