Several students from the Barren County Area Technology Center recently placed at the Future Business Leaders of America Region 2 Leadership Conference at Western Kentucky University. They advance to the state conference next week in Louisville.
Grant Harper captured first place in the following categories: Future Business Leader, Outstanding Local Officer, Who’s Who, Eugene H. Smith Scholarship and Debbie Barnett Service Award.
Skyler Milstead took first place in Human Resource Management; Emma Hunt, first place, Introduction to Public Speaking; and Madyson Coots, first place, Insurance & Risk Management.
Katie Elmore and Kamden Grubbs placed first in Banking & Financial Systems; Taylor Crabtree, Natalie Somerville and Hannah Wilson, first place, Business Ethics; Hayden Coomer, Josey Moore and Cydney Harrison, first place, Local Scrapbook Virtual; Ella Bartley, Tinsley Neagle, Berkley Clemmons and Addy Roemer, first place, Talent Show; and Jayci Childress, Kinsey Edwards and Kennedy Rush, first place, Management Information Systems.
Ben Blackburn took second place in Accounting II; Madeline Prichard, second place, Client Service; Emma Smith, second place, Electronic Career Portfolio; Laney Wheeler, second place, Health Care Administration; Kory Smith, second place, Public Speaking; and Wyatt Spears, second place, Supply Chain Management.
