Carl Lee Vincent, Sr

Carl Lee Vincent, Sr, age 73 of  Glasgow, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Carl was born on August 30, 1951 in Cleveland, OH to the late Eldon Vincent and Emma Wadsworth Vincent. Carl was a retired mechanic foreman with the City of Cleveland, a Mason since 1973, he was a member of Temple Lodge #28, a Shriner, Knights Templar and a KY Colonel. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Eldon Thomas Vincent, siblings, Floyd Redd, Kenneth Redd and Shirley Vincent.

Carl was always known for a slanted brow, sarcastic comment, and an immense pride and love for his family. He always made himself available in times of need, whether good or bad, for those he loved. Always thoughtful, whether through phone calls, shared videos, Christmas gifting or picking up snacks at the store for the ones he often thought of. A man that loved Cleveland Browns football, feeding animals, bird watching, old school country music, Lincoln Town Cars and being Mr. Fix It.  Always being one to teach that the struggles in life are real and definite but there are always a way to work through them and that standing your ground was important.

His wife – Karen Vincent of Glasgow
Two sons – Teddy Vincent (Cindy) of Florida and Carl Vincent, Jr (Mallissa) of Ohio
Three daughters – Jeannie Harris (Karl) and Jennifer Chittle (Jamie) of Ohio and Jessica Arps (Justin) of Greensburg, KY
Two sisters – Theresa Wilson of Ohio and Donna Daugherty of Lake Jackson, Texas
18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren
A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends

Funeral Service:
Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Modoc Cemetery with Masonic Rites by Cumberland Lodge #413. Family requests visitation after 9:00 A.M. until time for the service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Cumberland Lodge #413 will open for members at 11:00 A.M.
