Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College received $28 million in state funding it plans to spend on rebuilding its Glasgow health campus.
These funds come from the 90 million dollars the college system received following passage of legislation and signing by Governor Andy Beshear during the 2025 session.
The $28 million will be used for the Phase I construction of a new consolidated campus in Glasgow to respond to the demand in the allied health career field, which will replace a severely outdated health campus housed in the old tuberculosis hospital dormitory buildings and a triple-wide trailer, the college states.
The need for this replacement campus comes from the demographic changes to this area of the state, the college states.
