An Edmonton County woman was arrested Tuesday by the Glasgow Police Department on multiple drug-related charges.
On April 8, Glasgow police officer Colton Riley conducted a traffic stop on Burkesville Road and “detected an odor of marijuana coming from the inside” of the vehicle driven by 36-year-old Randee Bell, a Glasgow Police Department press release states.
Upon searching the vehicle, Riley found “marijuana, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a set of scales and Diazepam,” the press release states.
She was arrested and charged with Careless Driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree possession of a controlled substance — drug unspecified, prescription controlled substance not in the proper container 1st Offense, possession of marijuana and first-degree possession of a controlled substance 1st Offense (Methamphetamine).
Bell is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on an unsecured bond of $2,500 with a court appearance scheduled for May 1 at 8:30 a.m.
