While many were away for Spring Break, several Barren County athletes took to the track and field at Green County High School for a meet.
Gracie Reed led the way for Barren, winning the girls’ 800 meter run in 2:41.46, and the girls’ 1,600 meter run in 5:33.50. Molly Beckham was second in both of those events.
Greyson Billingsley won the boys’ discus with a toss of 138-feet, 3-inches. He was third in the boys’ shot put. Daylan Thomas was second in the boys’ shot put. Riley Wilson was second in both the girls’ discus and the girls’ shot put.
There were no team scores for the meet.
