The seven magistrates that make up the Barren County Fiscal Court are scheduled to meet and conduct a first reading of the county’s fiscal year 2025-2026 budget.
Unlike a calendar year, the fiscal year begins on July 1 and goes until June 30 the following year. The county budget was not included in the materials provided by Barren County Fiscal Court Clerk Shanda Bradley.
The magistrates are also set to “acknowledge” a quote of $9,785 by HF Group for government records preservation and approve an invoice from Knowink for $6,200.00.
