A Glasgow man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for sexual exploitation of children followed by a lifetime of supervised release, according to the Western District of Kentucky U.S. Attorney’s office.

Christopher Michael Marsh, 38, was indicted on Sept 13, 2023 on one count of sexual exploitation of children and one count of distribution of child pornography, according to court documents, which also states that “between Sept. 2021 and Jan. 1, 2022, Marsh recorded himself engaged in sexual abuse of an infant, and on Jan. 1, 2022, he distributed the recorded child sexual abuse material.”

On Nov. 19, 2024, Marsh’s attorney, Scott Wendelsdorf, entered him into a voluntary guilty plea on both counts, according to court documents. The charges he pleaded guilty to “carry a combined minimum term of imprisonment of 15 years, a combined maximum term of imprisonment of 50 years, a combined maximum fine of $500,000, and supervised release of at least 5 years and up to any number of years, including life,” according to court documents.
