Janice Mayhill Turner, age 82, of Munfordville, KY, passed away, Sunday, April 20, 2025, at her home. She was a member of the Munfordville Baptist Church. She retired from Caverna Hospital after 38 years. She enjoyed fishing and shopping, always adding to her extensive collection of shoes. She loved spending time with her family.
She was the daughter of the late George Mayhill and the late Dorothy Mayhill.
She is preceded in death by the grandmother that raised her, Ruth O’Nan
She is survived by her two sons, Barry Wayne Turner, Munfordville, KY and Terry Lee Turner, Myrtle Beach, SC; two grandchildren, Hunter Turner and his wife KayLa and Neveah Turner (Cameron Childress); her fur babies, Max, Rusty, and Missy; several cousins and other extended family also survive.
The family will receive friends from 4:00- 8:00 PM CT on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 and again from 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM CT on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will held at 12:00 PM CT on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremiah Meredith and Bro. John Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
