GLASGOW — Law enforcement will participate in “Cram the Cruiser” through Thursday evening.
The initiative is a community and county-wide school supply drive. Glasgow Police, the Barren Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police are participating.
Drop off locations for supplies will be at Glasgow Walmart and Dollar General along Happy Valley Road, 31-E Haywood and Veterans Outer Loop/ Columbia Avenue.
Items needed for the school year include backpacks, binders, glue sticks, sharpie markers, pencils, erasers, Kleenexes, loose leaf paper, college-ruled and wide-ruled notebooks, safety scissors, composition notebooks, markers, hand sanitizer, folders, sketch pads, crayons, coloring pencils, construction paper and bottled glue.
All proceeds will benefit Glasgow and Barren County Schools. Officers will be at each location Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
