Donald Ray Gilmore, 90, of Austin, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born June 16, 1932 in Silverwood, Michigan to the late Elmer Gilmore and Neva Warner Gilmore. Donald retired as a skilled tradesman from General Motors and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his children, Mike Gilmore (Diane) and Kim Gapinski; four grandchildren, Curt Gilmore, Cathy Dillon (David), Laurie Turner (Arron), David Gapinski II (Karla); six great grandchildren, Perry Gilmore, Paige Dillon, David Dillon, Kaylee Gapinski, Shaun Gapinski, Sofia Alquicira; and three sisters, Beverly Mallory, Janet Rock, and Lois Beatty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Laura Lorraine Gilmore; one son, Rick Gilmore; one sister, Joy Davis; and one brother, R. J. Gilmore.
