Edna Mae Price Montgomery

Edna Mae Price Montgomery of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late Paul Carter Price and Geneva Henderson Price, was born on Friday, March 31, 1939 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Campbellsville Nursing & Rehab Center. She was 84 years, two months, and three days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Hodges Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and a machine operator for Fruit of the Loom, Inc. for 16 years.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: William Ottis Montgomery, Jr. on January, 31, 2020, and was also preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Foley.

Survivors include a daughter: Melissa Gale Hovious of Campbellsville; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Raymond and Vita Montgomery of Greensburg, and William Ottis Montgomery, Jr. of Campbellsville; step-children: Ronnie and Debbie Foley & family, Greg and Wendy Foley & Family, and Becky Landis & family; ex-son-in-law: Rick Hovious; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Betty and Joe South of Hiseville, Linda and Owen Thompson of Campbellsville; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Robert and Nancy Price of Greensburg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Walt Quillman of Louisville, Timmy Montgomery of Campbellsville, Doris Price of Greensburg, and Elizabeth Wagner of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Christen Montgomery and Tim Chiang of Lexington; Bryan Montgomery and fiancé, McKenzie of Greensburg; Ashley Nicole Montgomery of Campbellsville, Brandon Hovious and Tony of China, and Brianna Hovious of Campbellsville; step-grandchildren: C.J. and Laryn Rueda, and Tricia Morrison; four great-grandchildren: Lettie, Bentley Ryan, Aubrey Nicole, and Jaxon; two step-great-grandchildren: Parker McCall and Damen; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Montgomery was also preceded in death by a grandson: Sgt Ryan Jay Montgomery; a step-grandchild: Catina Hall Bagby; a step-great-grandchild: Alyssa LeaAnne Bagby; a sister and brother: Nora Quillman and Michael Price; a brother-in-law: Junior Robertson.

The funeral services for Edna Mae Price Montgomery will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the S.A. Montgomery Cemetery. Bro. Deon Jewell officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Central Time, Tuesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Wednesday until time of the funeral service.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the S.A. Montgomery Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
