James “Jim” Kendrick Thompson, age 72, of Cave City KY, passed away Friday, June 16th, 2023, at Signature Health Care of Horse Cave. James was born in Glasgow KY, on September 20th, 1950, to the late James Thompson and the late Mary Elizabeth Matthews. He was a gun enthusiast and 4H shooting sport leader.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Thompson; daughters, Carolyn Elizabeth Morrison (Brett) and Laura Thompson (Chris Chapman); brothers, Bobby Thompson, and Ricky Thompson; he is also survived by two nephews.
Besides his parents, Jim is preceded in death by sister, Dottie Thompson; brother, James Woodrow Thompson.
Mr. Thompson’s family has honored his wishes for cremation.
