10-2-2003 – 25th annual Arts and Crafts Fair on the Square was a big success despite an early morning rain.

“Holiday in the Highlands” is the winning theme of the Christmas Parade submitted by Meghan Taylor.

Owner and operator of Phillips Paint and Paper, Oval Nichols Phillips, passes at age 87.

GHS Football Homecoming Queen Canidates are Marilee Hyde, Madison Myers, Lindsey Elmore, Meagan Harris, Leah Holiday, Danielle England, Katie Huber, Amy Page, Sarah Gibson, Ashley Bailey, Katie Simpson and Della Vanzant.

Barren County Homecoming Queen Candidates are Jessica Houchens, Aleia Shirley, Kateland Beals, Patrika Barlow, Piper Lindsey, Marissa Borders, Brittany Brewington, Mattea Carver, Jordan Pursley, Kelly McKinney, Whitney Honeycutt, Jordan Parsley, Casey Glover, Jessica Jolly and Jessica Shelton.

“Dracula” comes to Barnlot Theatre opening October 31st.
