On April 9, 2024, Jose Soto, a 56-year-old male from Leitchfield, was arrested by the Kentucky State Police (KSP) and charged with one count of Promoting Contraband 1st Degree, which is a Class D felony.
The arrest was in response to a complaint, the KSP Post 3 in Bowling Green received on Dec. 3, 2023, regarding employees at the Warren Regional Juvenile Detention Center prompting an extensive investigation by detectives.
The investigation remains ongoing and is being led by Detective Carlock.
