Press release from Cave City Police Department:
On Friday, April 12th at approximately 5 p.m. Major Reynolds observed a silver Lincoln passenger car operating carelessly on Gillenwater ST. As the Lincoln turned north onto N 3rd St the vehicle almost struck Major Reynold’s patrol vehicle causing Major Reynolds to abruptly come to a stop to avoid a collision. Major Reynolds was able to get behind the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop on N 3rd St. Upon contact with the two occupants, the driver gave Major Reynolds a name and social security number that came back to an individual that did not match the description of the subject.
While investigating the traffic stop Major Reynolds was able to positively identify the driver as Jeremy Nunnally of Arkansas. Nunnally was listed as a fugitive from Arkansas with full extradition for his arrest. During a search of the vehicle, Major Reynolds located a white powdery substance suspected to be methamphetamine and some pills suspected to be Klonopin inside a purse belonging to the passenger, Kara Ollis. Ollis stated that she believed the powdery substance to be methamphetamine and that she could not provide a prescription for the pills in her possession. Jeremy Nunnally was arrested and transported to the Barren County Detention Center where he awaits extradition back to Arkansas. He is charged with the following:
Fugitive from another state (no warrant required)
Theft of identity of another w/o consent
Careless Driving
Kara Ollis was arrested and transported to the Barren County Detention Center. She is charged with the following:
Possession of Controlled Substance 1 degree 1st offense(Methamphetamine)
Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd degree 1″ offense (Drug Unspecified)
