KSP Investigates Fatal Vehicle Collision in Warren County

Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 3 responded to the area of the 41-mile marker of Interstate 65 on the northbound side in Warren County on Friday, October 18 at 4:25PM in reference to a fatal motor vehicle collision.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a gold 2007 Nissan Titan operated by a 17-year-old juvenile was northbound on Interstate 65 when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the right side of the roadway before hitting a tree line. The juvenile driver was transported by Med-Com EMS to the Medical Center of Bowling Green where he was treated for minor injuries and later released.

A female passenger, Gracie Scott (19) of Franklin, KY, was airlifted from the scene to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville where she later pronounced deceased by authorities in Tennessee.

KSP was assisted on scene by Smiths Grove Police, Bowling Green Fire Department, Smiths Grove Fire Department, Med-Com EMS, and Air-Methods. This investigation is ongoing by KSP and is being led by Trooper Landon Key.
