Wilma Lea Cochran, age 85, passed away at her residence in Bowling Green, Kentucky on November 8, 2024. She was born to the late George and Anna Conover Alford, on January 20, 1939. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Perry Cochran, three brothers, and six sisters.
Wilma worked in retail for many years, serving at both Castner Knott and Dillards. However, in her later life she enjoyed spending time with her family and loving on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Richard Cochran and their three children; Debbie Parrish (Rick), Kevin Cochran (Shelly), and Randal Cochran (Sarah). Nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be from 9 until 11 a.m. Thursday, November 14, with funeral service conducted at 11 a.m all at the J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bowling Green Gardens.
