Harold Ronald “Ronnie” Fields age 85 of Upton passed away Friday, Nov. 15th at Baptist Health Hardin. Ronnie was a lifelong farmer, a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church where he was a deacon and a former song leader.
He was preceded by his first wife of 52years Goldie Constant Fields, a brother Monte Carlon Fields, a sister Melva Copelin(Ralph), a grandson Dustin Tyler Fields and a brother-in-law T.W. Copelin.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 10years Barbara Hatfield Fields, his children Anita Haycraft(Phillip), Gwen Logsdon(Greg) & Doug Fields(Pam); brothers Larry Edmund “Sonny” Fields(Dorothy) & Wendell Fields; sisters Norvella Copelin, Janice Riggs(Hubert), Rita Riggs(Kenton); 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral for Ronnie Fields will be held at 1:30pm Sunday, November 17th at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Brandon Fields & Bro. Casey Logsdon officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8pm Saturday at the Sego Funeral Home and after 9am Sunday at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
